Our Story
The first time we stood looking over the ocean at Casa Feliz, the world got quieter.
There was something about the way it met the sky, the way the palms swayed just a little with the warm ocean breeze, and the way time seemed to loosen its grip.
That feeling never wore off.
Now, it’s woven into every corner of the house - from the private beach where you can view the morning sunrise with your first cup of morning coffee, to the pool with three waterfalls that no one ever wants to leave. There's a poolside cabana that’s perfect for barefoot happy hours, and plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy this oceanfront oasis.
This isn’t a resort - it’s better. Welcome to your own private version of Keys living, made for lazy mornings, cannonball contests, grilled dinners, and stories that get retold every time you come back.
Casa Feliz has quite a story! Owners Allen and Debbie Kronebusch had always wanted a beach house and they were excited to find the one that met all of their criteria after four years of searching. It was purchased with love on June 30, 2017 with the intention of sharing it with other Florida Keys lovers. The plan was to put in a pool over the summer and then welcome guests to this amazing property when it was complete. Only two and a half short months later, on September 10th, a category five Hurricane named Irma came barreling through making landfall a mere 37 miles away. It was nearly a total loss. After six long years of rebuilding, Casa Feliz is back and greatly better than the original! We finally launched in November 2023. We're excited for you to experience what we've created for you.
We named the house Casa Feliz, our “happy house”, because it makes us happy to spend time here and we are sure our guests will feel the same way.
Each corner - from the private beach to the pool cabana and everything in between - was designed with family in mind. We love sharing this joy with others and can't wait to hear about your favorite memories spent together here.
